Review of register completed. When attempting access to the store at Middleton-one Row, the Clerk found the locks were damaged and had to replaced, cost £35 (including VAT) Parish Council to approve revised register and reimbursement to Clerk

Training course completed.
10-10/21 ROADSIDE GULLIES
Clerk requested gullies to be cleaned.
11-10/21 ACCESS TO CHILDREN’S PLAY AREA
Darlington Borough Council will not replace pedestrian access with
“Kissing Gate”. Councillor Murphy believes it was agreed to have a pedestrian access at this point and is investigating.

Subject raised by resident at last meeting. Clarification required regarding future requests for placing personal memorials.

16-10/21 DEFIBRILLATOR – VILLAGE GREEN
Clerk reports the battery is running down in the Village Green Defibrillator and Pad in one is due to expire in November 2021, seeks approval to purchase replacement in preparation to change.
17-10/21 RESIDENT REQUESTS A CHANGE IN STREET NAME AND ROAD SURFACING
A resident of Chapel Row is requesting correction of street names. Pleasant View consists of only one property, the garage attached to it belongs to 1 Chapel Row. This is causing confusion to the Fire Service, delivery drivers etc.
Also, Chapel Row requires surfacing to allow access to properties, once this is done access could be set up as a “one way street” making traffic easier to flow throughout the entire row of properties. The resident is asking for the Parish Council’s support in their lobbying of Darlington Borough Council.

Approval requested from Parish Council to pay invoice for £345.60 received for 2021 2022 Scribe Accounts software programme.
