Memorial Trees – in memory of lives lost to COVID

As part of Darlington Borough Council’s Memorial to those residents of the area who lost their lives as a result of COVID
Six trees were planted in each of the Rural Wards. Pictured planting one of the trees in Sadberge is Mrs Heather Scott OBE, leader of the Borough Council and the Chairman of Sadberge Parish Council Mr Lee Tate.

The trees and plaque were installed in the Sadberge Children’s play area located behind Abbey Road.
