NOTICE OF VACANCY FOR A PARISH COUNCILLOR

 

SADBERGE PARISH COUNCIL HAVE A VACANCY TO JOIN THE PARISH COUNCIL

 

 

A PERSON IS QUALIFIED TO BE CO-OPTED TO THE PARISH COUNCIL IF THEY ARE A BRITISH, COMMONWEALTH, IRISH OR EUROPEAN CITIZEN AND THEY ARE 18 OR OVER. IN ADDITION, THE PERSON MUST MEET AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:-

 

(a)  Be on the Electoral Register for the Parish, or

(b)  During the whole of the last twelve months they have owned or tenanted land or premises in the Parish. or

(c)  During the whole of the last twelve months thier principal or only place of work has been in the Parish, or

(d)  During the whole of the last tweve months they have resided in the Parish or within 4.8km or 3 miles of it.
