The ANNUAL SADBERGE PARISH MEETING
will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday 1st May 2024 in Sadberge Village Hall.
The Parish Meeting is the annual meeting of the local electors. Persons registered as local government electors for the Parish of Sadberge are entitled to speak and vote at the Parish Meeting. Other people are welcome to attend but have no rights to take part in the business of the meeting.

1. Apologies for absence
2. Minutes of the last Parish Meeting
Approval of the Minutes meeting held in May 2023 to be a true record of that meeting.
3. Parish Council’s report to the Parish Meeting.
The Chair of the Parish Council, Councillor Lee Tate, will present a report on the Parish Council’s activities over the last twelve months.
4. Financial report.
The Clerk to the Parish Council, Tony Delderfield, will present the Parish Council’s Accounts for the year ended 31st March 2024 and the budget for 2024-2025
5. Strategy for improving the village environment
The Parish Council would like to hear residents’ views on priorities for using the Parish Council’s resources (money and influence with Darlington Borough Council and other service providers to improve the village environment.
For example, Climate Change and Biodiversity projects and improvements to the Village Greens and other open spaces.
6. Any other business
Note
The Annual Meeting of Sadberge Parish Council will be held immediately after the Parish Meeting. It must be noted that these meetings are two separate meetings.
• The Parish Meeting is a meeting of the electors of the Parish and are entitled to speak and vote at this meeting.

• The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council is a meeting of the Parish Council, and only Parish Councillors are entitled to speak and vote at this meeting. (The Council may, however, decide to invite observers to make comments on issues.)
